Calhoun Co. baseball championship game set for Thursday

The Calhoun County baseball tournament championship game between Oxford and Jacksonville will be played at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Oxford.
The game was supposed to be played Tuesday night following both teams’ semifinals wins but had to be postponed due to inclement weather.
No. 1 Oxford defeated fourth-seeded White Plains 7-1, and Jacksonville downed No. 2 Alexandria 6-5 to advance Tuesday.
