Dear Editor:

Quo Vadis America (Where are you going, America)?

“In God we trust” is our motto, but then God may ask, “How can I trust you?”

From the decision by the Supreme Court to grant homosexuals the same rights, to the daily waste of food in school lunches and even at church dinners, the laws of God and Christ are neglected.

How often do people pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” and then dump the leftovers into the garbage? If I give someone a present he asked for, and then he dumps it into the garbage, I would feel very sad and even mad about this.

There are millions of people in this world starving, and wasting food is a shame. Jesus, after feeding the crowds at the Sermon on the Mount, had the leftovers collected.
