TALLADEGA -- A Talladega man was arrested on burglary charges Monday, according to police Capt. John McCoy.

Jacob  Angle, 21, is accused of breaking into the home of a family member on the 800 block of Black Snake Road and stealing items that included a pair of shoes valued at $30, a small box speaker valued at $20 and various life insurance documents.

Angle was arrested the same day as the alleged break-in, McCoy said.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no bond had been set in the case.

Burglary in the third degree is a class C felony in Alabama, punishable upon conviction by one year and one day to 10 years in prison.
