First Baptist Church of Sylacauga will serve as a host location for Living Proof Live, a live Internet streaming event featuring noted women’s author and speaker Beth Moore.
LifeWay Christian Resources will simulcast Moore, the well-known Bible teacher and best-selling author, live from Fort Wayne, Ind., on Sept. 13.
Living Proof Live, sponsored by Nashville-based publishing company LifeWay Christian Resources, will feature Moore’s dynamic storytelling and passionate Bible teaching.
“Beth’s teaching is some of the most profound I’ve ever heard,” said Kim Trobee, associate pastor to women at New Life Church in Colorado. “Her knowledge of the word and her passionate delivery never fail to get right to the heart of the matter.”
The event both challenges and encourages women to grow deeply in their faith. More than 250,000 women around the world are expected to participate in this live, global, Internet streaming event.
“I have served in women’s ministry for over 20 years now, and there is just no other event like Living Proof Live,” women’s ministry leader Missy Kintzel said. “It is one event our women do not want to miss.”
Moore has authored dozens of Bible studies, books, and devotionals specifically for women for nearly two decades. Her newest LifeWay-published study, Children of the Day: 1 & 2 Thessalonians, which was released on May 1, is a Bible study that equips women to let the light of Christ shine brightly. Moore’s organization, Living Proof Ministries, is based out of Houston.
Moore’s best-selling books and Bible studies are read by women of all ages, races and denominations. She is the founder of Living Proof Ministries and speaks to thousands of women who attend her Living Proof Live conferences each year. Her mission is to lead women everywhere into a richer, more fulfilling relationship with the Father through biblical literacy — guiding believers to love and live God’s word.
Dove award-winning musical artist Travis Cottrell, who also serves as worship pastor of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tenn., is slated to lead worship for the event.
Cottrell is a contemporary Christian singer, arranger and worship leader. He uses a blended style of worship in leading churches, student conferences and events such as Living Proof Live with Beth Moore. Recent musical projects include Jesus Saves: Live, which recently was nominated for a Dove Award; the 3:16 Worship Musical; The Lamb Has Overcome for Living Proof Live; and the live worship project Alive Forever. He and his wife Angela, who often ministers with him, are also songwriters.
