Exhibit opens with reception at Comer Museum Thursday evening

The Isabel Anderson Comer Museum and Arts Center will have an reception this evening at 6:30 to open an exhibit of watercolor paintings and woodcarvings.

Paintings are by Sylacauga artist Pete Hosey, who will also perform old songs on guitar during the reception. Gary Thunder Wolf Soyar will perform Native American dance.

The carvings are by Roger Vines, Terry Frey, Phillip Frey, the late John Frey, Ricky McCain, Roy “Smitty” Schmidt, and the late Terry Hammer.
