Vendors signed up to participate include Montana Saloon & Grill, Caribe Club & Marina, Metro Bank, Dominos of Lincoln, Subway on Alabama 77, Steve-N-Jan’s BBQ, Dog House Pub & Grill, Rana’s Mexican Restaurant, Lincoln Public Library, Pizza Hut of Lincoln, Rick’s Crossroads Grille, Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department, First National Bank of Talladega Lincoln Branch, Regions Bank of Lincoln, Mystery Meals, Logan Martin Lake Protection Association and Ribbons of Hope Foundation.
“This is a great event each year where you can come and get a taste of a lot of different things,” Duncan said. “It may be tasting a new dish from one of your favorite restaurants or discovering a new place to eat. You might find a new favorite dish at a place you often eat at.”
Tickets to Taste of Lincoln are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 12 and younger. Tickets are available in advance at the Lincoln Park Office, Lincoln City Center and Greater Talladega and Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce office in Talladega. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Duncan said there are awards this year for Best Decorated Booth, Best Taste of Lincoln, Best Dessert and Best Appetizer.
“Thanks to holding the Taste of Lincoln each year, we have been able to do renovations to our Lincoln City Center,” she said. “We recycled the men’s locker room into a fitness room and added a stage to the gym. Our goal is to raise funds for exercise equipment and begin repair work to the Lincoln Senior Center.”
