At Irondale in a game initially scheduled for Jan. 6, Jordan Griswould drilled three 3-point baskets and ended with 15 points, leading the Lions to a 62-37 road win over Jefferson Christian on Thursday.

Riley Camp scored 13 points for Faith Christian. Jack Sills added nine points and Seth Cravens finished with eight points for the Lions.

Now 8-10, Faith Christian meets Donoho in the opening round of the Calhoun County basketball tournament at Pete Mathews Coliseum on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Ranburne 57, Horseshoe Bend 28: Ranburne used a 25-2 run in the first quarter to knock off the Generals.

Jesse Ralston — who scored 15 points in the first quarter — led the way for the Bulldogs with 31 points, nine rebounds and eight steals. She was 11-for-15 at the free-throw line. Lacey Smith added 11 points, seven steals, four rebounds and four assists. She was 3-for-4 from the charity stripe. Emily Hall had six points and four rebounds.

Ranburne (6-7) travels to Woodland today.
