TUSCALOOSA — It’s only July 31, but Alabama’s 2015 recruiting class is already nearly full.
On Thursday, Nashville (Tenn.) defensive back Rico McGraw flipped his commitment from Georgia to Alabama. That gives the Crimson Tide 21 commitments for the 2015 cycle. The NCAA limit for incoming signees is 25 a year.
The Ensworth High standout committed to the Bulldogs back in January.
At 6-foot-0, 190 pounds, McGraw is four-star prospect. He ranks as the nation’s No. 17 cornerback and is the fourth best player in Tennessee according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
McGraw is Alabama’s first commitment out of Tennessee for the 2015 class.
McGraw is the second defensive back to commit to the Tide this week following Florida native Ronnie Harrison, who flipped to the Tide on Tuesday.
Alabama currently holds pledges from six players who project to play defensive back at the collegiate level. The Tide already owns 10 percent of Rivals 100.
