SEC football is finally back.

The SEC Network will air its first two live football games tonight with Texas A&M traveling to South Carolina and Vanderbilt hosting Temple.

In the first matchup, I like the Gamecocks over the Aggies. There are a lot of questions surrounding Texas A&M without Johnny Manziel. The Aggies are talented, but very young. South Carolina quarterback Dylan Thompson is technically a new quarterback, but he has plenty of experience. He’s 3-0 as a starter.

In Derek Mason’s debut as Vanderbilt’s coach, look for the Commodores to take down Temple. James Franklin built Vanderbilt into a legit football program and I believe Mason is the guy to continue the winning ways and maybe even take the program to another level.

On Saturday, there a quite a few good matchups. There’s LSU-Wisconsin, Georgia-Clemson and Florida State-Oklahoma State.

Give me LSU, Georgia and Florida State. No matter who wins, I’m just glad we get some live football games. Welcome back, football.
