TUSCALOOSA — In their second practice in preparation for Saturday’s game against Kent State, Alabama players wore full pads and practiced outside on Wednesday.
Here are a few notes from the brief media viewing period:
— Wide receiver ArDarius Stewart (knee) was present in a black, no-contact jersey. He worked on rehab drills away from the receiver group before getting on the stationary bike toward the end of the viewing period.
— Scouts from the Arizona Cardinals, Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons watched players work in practice.
— The team practiced with in its normal dime set: Marlon Humphrey and Anthony Averett at the corners, Hootie Jones and Eddie Jackson at the safeties, Minkah Fitzpatrick at Star, Ronnie Harrison at Money and Reuben Foster at linebacker.
— Defensive line coach Karl Dunbar worked with freshman Raekwon Davis on shedding blockers. The 6-foot-7, 315-pound defensive lineman has generated a lot of buzz since joining the Tide this season and may see some extended playing time this week against Kent State.
