Tide baseball rained out

ATHENS, Ga. — The first game of Alabama's series with Georgia was rained out Thursday night and will be made up as part of a doubleheader today. The teams will play two nine-inning games starting at 2 p.m. Alabama (30-23, 14-13 SEC) is in a four-way tie for fourth in the SEC standings with Florida, Kentucky and Ole Miss. Georgia has already won the SEC title and the SEC East with a 19-7-1 mark. The rainout marks the Tide's eighth SEC game affected by weather this season. |
