Rushing Springs Missionary Baptist Association to hold meeting

The Rushing Springs Missionary Baptist Association will convene its 138th annual session Wednesday through Friday at the district center, 200 Old Sylacauga Highway, Sylacauga.

Each church is asked to bring its annual offering of $1,500.

Registration starts at 9 Wednesday, and morning sessions begin at 9:30. Afternoon sessions start at 1:30. Each day will feature speakers, ranging from the women's annual address on Wednesday afternoon with Sister Maxine Goodgame Moon to the Golden Hour Temperance Sermon on Friday morning by Rev. B.E. McKinney. The moderator's annual address will be Friday afternoon by Rev. Joseph Stafford Rowser Jr., pastor of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist church in Lincoln. There will also be daily devotional messages.

Rushing Springs District has 47 churches in Talladega and Calhoun counties and is affiliated with the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention and the National Baptist Convention, U.S.A.
