Sunshine Club members have cookout

Twenty-two members and two guests of the Sunshine Club went to the Frachiseur-Morrow lake homes for the annual cookout on May 6. First Baptist Church pastor and interim leader for the club, Rev. Michael Ingram opened with prayer. Glen Frachiseur and Ronnie Morrow prepared food on the grills.

Guests were Dean Humphrey and Griffin Pointer. Guests left for their homes after prayer was said.

On May 15, a group of Sunshiners had lunch at Catfish Cabin.

Those celebrating birthdays in May were Shirley Morrow, Bud Sanford, Louise Simpson, Bert McCullough and Sandra Phillips.
