PACT ends year without a funding solution for shortfalls
There was relief in April as the Alabama Legislature managed to pass a plan to fund shortfalls in the state’s prepaid college tuition program.
But as the year ends, doubt has returned after a report predicted shortfalls again despite almost $548 million from the Education Trust Fund meant to shepherd the Alabama Prepaid College Tuition program to its conclusion.
