HUNTSVILLE, AL -- Morris Elementary School on Bob Wallace Avenue is on lockdown as Huntsville and Madison police search for a burglary suspect, said Huntsville police Sgt. Mark Roberts.

A car chase that started in Madison turned into a foot pursuit in Huntsville after a wreck near the intersection of Bob Wallace Avenue and Crestwood Drive, police said. The two men listed as suspects took off on foot near Lex Drive, just off of Bob Wallace Avenue, Roberts said.
