Huntsville native Paul McDonald makes it to 'American Idol' Top 12
Last week, "American Idol" seemed to really stretch out the drama when it narrowed the Top 24 to the Top 13 contestants, including Huntsville native Paul McDonald.
On Thursday night, host Ryan Seacrest made it pretty painless, selecting three ladies - Haley Reinhart, Karen Rodriguez and Ashthon Jones - to sweat it out to see which one would leave. At the same time, Seacrest told the other 10 sitting on the couch, including McDonald, they were safe this week.
