Etowah County emergency officials have not received any reports of damage after a 3.2 magnitude earthquake reportedly occurred near Sardis City.

“The United States Geological Survey is reporting that a 3.2 magnitude earthquake occurred today at 9:04 a.m. in northern Etowah County,” said the Gadsden/Etowah County Emergency Management Agency in a statement Thursday.
