An employee at the DeKalb County jail has been arrested after he was accused of stealing something from an inmate, according to a news release from DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris.

Jesse Aaron House, 19, Fort Payne, was charged with third-degree theft, a misdemeanor, after it was reported to Chief Jail Administrator Mitchell Dendy on Thursday that an inmate's property, worth about $175, was missing.
