Bentley disbands task force on gambling, expects budget cuts

In his first full day in office, Gov. Robert Bentley disbanded the Task Force on Illegal Gambling, swore in his Cabinet, and said he will likely announce across the board budget cuts soon.

In his first executive order, Bentley on Tuesday disbanded the Task Force on Illegal Gambling created by his predecessor. Bentley, a Republican had promised to do that during his campaign.
