Tax collections for the state Education Trust Fund in October through December totaled $1.292 billion, a drop of $34.3 million, 2.6 percent, compared to October through December 2009, according to state finance department reports released Monday.
That decline is better than the 3.5-percent drop reported for October and November compared to the same two-month period a year earlier.
