Alabama House committee supports extending Forever Wild program

A House of Representatives committee this afternoon voted to extend Forever Wild, the state's land preservation program, for another 20 years.      

Forever Wild receives a portion of the interest on the state's oil and gas royalties to buy land for public recreation and ecological preservation.
