Alabama teachers take their fight with Republican lawmakers to federal court in Huntsville this morning, as the teachers' organization looks to protect its primary source of financial support.

With just five days to spare, the Alabama Education Association seeks to stop the implementation of a state law that would prevent school employees from having membership dues deducted from their paychecks.
