13-year-old in critical condition after being swept away by current in Mobile
A 13-year-old girl was listed in critical condition Sunday after being swept by a strong current while playing in a culvert, according to Mobile Fire Department spokesman Steve Huffman.
The girl, whose name was not released, was playing with a 14-year-old friend behind Knollwood Apartments at Vista Bonita Drive South at Wildwood Place.
