The Star recently asked, “What role does the devil play in this world?” The imam responded directly to that important question in accordance with the teachings of Islam. In contrast, the “Christian” response was distressingly secular.
The accurate Christian response is that “the devil” is real, is the leader of a group of rebellious fallen angels, is set on diverting us from the divine truth of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, personally tempted Jesus in the wilderness, works tangible evil in this world, has been defeated by Christ and will fall with all who follow, listen to, or are deluded by him.
A prevalent deception in our agnosticised Western world is that the devil, Satan or whatever does not exist. He does! This supernatural being seeks to separate us from God, not just “divide.” It’s easy to prove.
Just pick up a Bible with indices to subjects or notes or a concordance and find the answer. Satan does exist. He seeks not just to divide us, but also to fool us into accompanying him into the other subject that wimpy “Christians” avoid — to wit, hell.
