A 28-year-old woman told police she was robbed by two masked men, one brandishing a pistol, after she stopped her car at the intersection of Eulaton Road and North Hunter Street around 1:30 a.m., according to a police report. The men told her to get out of her car and stole a cell phone and cash from the vehicle before letting the woman drive away, she told police.
Anniston police Sgt. Josh Doggrell said the woman subsequently called police from a convenience store on Quintard Avenue.
Investigators will conduct a follow up interview today and possibly get descriptions of the men, Doggrell said.
