To the Anniston Star,
I thought the Anniston Star was supposed to be the guardian for people who had nothing? According to the owner of the paper anyway. Well why can the Sheriff in Calhoun County rob the inmates in the county jail with his personal store and gouge extreme high prices for items and pocket the money, why won’t they investigate and do a story on that? He provides nothing to drink with his meals unless you buy it from him for extreme prices. He basically runs a mini Wal-mart at the jail and tells inmates they have only 72 hours for personal items to be brought in. After that you pay his prices. Why is this allowed to happen?
