Based on statewide returns that show voters approving a proposed state constitutional amendment by a margin of nearly 2-to-1, the Associated Press has declared the measure approved. (State officials will begin official certification of the vote on Wednesday.) That means the state will take $437 million from a state trust fund to help balance the General Fund budget for the next three years.

Below are statewide totals and box-by-box returns so far from Calhoun County polling places in today's election. The numbers are updated as they are released at the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office, where local returns are being tabulated. Refresh this page to see the latest results.
