I’m a fairly regular diner at Los Mexicanos Restaurant in Oxford, but in the heat of summer, a plateful of steaming burritos or fajitas is not what I want. When the temperature soars, I order up the spicy, refreshing Coctel de Camaron ($8.20). Fat shrimp swim in a spicy tomato sauce loaded with chunks of avocado, tomato and onion, spiked with lime and cilantro. It comes in an enormous frosted goblet. Heads always turn when this thing is delivered to my table. Make no mistake: This is a meal, not just an appetizer.
