It was fall in 1892, on a Halloween night. There was a boy and a girl named Jack and Nina who were both nineteen. They were on their way to a party on 5th street. They got in their car and were on their way to the party.

When they got there they realized that nobody was there, but they thought they heard crazy noises, so they looked upstairs. Nobody there. They looked downstairs. Nobody there. Then they got to the last part of the house, the basement. They were jumping up and down the stairs to see if anybody was there. They didn’t think anybody was there. Anyway, not anybody they could see.

When they got downstairs they kept hearing those noises that sounded like zombies, but it wasn’t. It was a hurricane that came and crashed on them. “We’re going to die!” said Nina. “Don’t say that. Keep swimming,” said Jack.

They knew someone was watching them, but it wasn’t someone. It was something. They looked everywhere. What could it be? They looked some more before they sunk to the bottom of the House. “Jack, I think I know what is watching us,” said Nina. “What is it,” he said. “Jack, it’s a light,” and before they could say any more, a huge wave landed on top of them. Everything was broken down and crashed. All the lights were out except that one light that never went out in a 1000 years.

So every time a person goes into the house something bad happens, and it kills the people and keeps their spirits in the light. But you can still hear Jack and Nina’s screams every Halloween night, so remember, keep your light on because if you turn it off, it will come right back on.
