One night, my mom, three siblings and I all went to walk around the lake near the park. The night before that I had a dream that my dead day care teacher that got shot by her ex-husband and died had come back to life to haunt me.

Well, as I said, I was walking all alone and there she was in the middle of the night. I asked her if I knew her, because she looked familiar. She said, “Yes, remember, you were my favorite student at day care.” You could hear the wind whistling behind her soft voice. Then I saw her walk away and smile as she disappeared into the dark night. “Whooooooooo” the wind whistled. She was wearing a hot pink dress, black high heels and had long straight hair.

I ran as fast as the wind was blowing. Then I screamed “aaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaa.”

I told my mom what had happened, but of course she had to be a doubting Thomas about it.

It still remains a mystery why she showed up that day. I see her around here sometimes, but I just hope she comes back to thank me for being a good student and not to haunt me.
