It was Halloween Day and kids had to go to school. The school was having a Halloween Party. There were pumpkins along the hallways, stuffed horses with riders missing their heads, and fake rubber skeletons, and to make it scarier, they dimmed the lights and put lights in the pumpkins and painted a house in the back of the hall.

When the first kids came in, the painted lights came on, the painted door came open, a painted cat came out, and the painted stairs came out of the wall. The kids came up to the house. They entered it and the door slammed shut behind them. They all screamed and pried on the door, but it wouldn’t open.

One boy leaned against a grandfather clock, it broke, and he fell inside. The others jumped in after him. They were in a black hole, then they saw a light. It got brighter and brighter. Then they were in a room with many holes and a sign that said choose wisely or you will disappear from all existence. Jenna, Adam, and Carter’s sister said, “I choose that one.” and the boys agreed. They jumped inside and they found themselves out of the house.

After that the house stayed there forever and the same thing happened every year.
