He had nothing to grab onto to pull himself up. His feet were laying upside toward the road. A young woman driving a black Ford Explorer on Choctaw Street in the Indian Oaks area happened to notice his legs when she passed by. She decided to turn around and check out what she thought she saw.
She immediately jumped from her vehicle and pulled my father to safety. She asked him numerous times if he was okay. After making sure he was fine, she drove on her way. My father was somewhat disoriented from the fall and did not ask her name. Although we don’t know her name, I want this young lady to know how much my family and I appreciate what she did for my father. Being that he was unable to move, who knows how long he would have laid there. The Lord truly blessed us that day by sending this angel, and we thank you.
