On April 30, Honor Fight carried 99 World War II veterans to see their World War II memorial in Washington. All of these veterans were between 78 and 96 years old.
When you hear a World War II veteran, who is 92, say, “This has been the best day of my life,” it makes you realize we have much more to do. There are only 10 percent of these veterans left, and it is important that we send as many as soon as possible.
Please continue to help these veterans who have never seen their memorial see it before it is too late. Please visit www.oxfordpd.org to learn how to help.
