Many, many salutes to Dennis Dunn, director of the Woodstock 5K, for organizing another successful race. It is so humbling to see the community come together for this event, and it has evolved into something every person in this county should witness for themselves. It is amazing that entire families are coming to watch members of their family run and/or walk in this race.

Those who have never directed a race cannot imagine the stress of getting a race of this magnitude to fit together. As Dennis has done this by surrounding himself with good people, it has allowed this event to be as successful as any race I have ever participated in.

The Anniston Runners Club is so successful because we have had so many good people to stand up and become the officers that go along with making us the club we are.

Thanks to all of our sponsors, the Anniston Police Department, the Anniston Fire Department, Stephen Folks and the city of Anniston and all of the many volunteers who are such a big part of this. Hats off to you.
