We started with historic images from the archival photo collections of the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County, then remixed them into current-day settings. Sometimes it was as simple as holding up an old photograph in front of a modern-day scene. Other times, we used Photoshop to layer old on top of new. Either way, the ghosts of the past suddenly seem very, very real.
