Storms damage 58 buildings in Walker County
The Birmingham News reports on storm damage in Walker County this weekend. There are some photos that really show the power of the wind.
Three buildings were destroyed in Walker County, 14 had major damage and 41 others had minor damage in Saturday night's storms, a state emergency management spokeswoman said today.
No injuries were reported in the storms in Walker or Jefferson counties, said Lauree Ashcom, deputy public information officer for the Alabama Emergency Management Agency.
