State to appeal ruling on double-dipping lawmakers
Montgomery County Circuit Judge Johnny Hardwick ruled Wednesday in favor of six lawmakers who had challenged the policies approved by the board to end the practice that critics call "double dipping."
Gov. Bob Riley's press secretary, Todd Stacy, said Thursday that the ruling would be appealed. The governor serves as president of the board.
