The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Patsy and Bobby Collier of Talladega; Cecil and Crickett Freeman of Oxford; Jimmy and Gwen Denham of Anniston and Donald Sparks of Ashland and the late Dimple Sparks.
Miss Sparks is a graduate of Walter Wellborn High School. She is employed by Dr. Ogles in Ashland.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Velma Matthews; the late Ruby Smith, formerly of Ashland; the late Clarence Moon and the late Hairm and Mittis Davidson, formerly of Clay County.
Mr. Moon is a graduate of Clay County High School. He is employed by WCKF Alabama 100.7.
The wedding will be 3 p.m. Oct. 6, 2012, in Lineville.
