When he told me he was a student at Jacksonville State University, I encouraged him to apply for a scholarship. With his GPA and work ethic, he was approved. There has never been a time that I needed his assistance that he did not respond. He has strong character and true convictions, but most of all, “he loves God.” The more I have gotten to know and work with David, the more I see a loyal and dedicated person that is willing to work because it is the right thing to do.
He is a passionate worker; whether it is driving the gospel-choir van or putting up and breaking down our sound equipment, often alone and late into the evening hours. What is important to him is that the job is done and done right, so that someone may be touched by the Gospel or the Word of God. If you ever get to hear Reddick’s testimony, it will change your life.
If you know his story, you will also see why he is willing to carelessly serve people to any degree that he can. If elected, I truly believe he will help unite the city of Anniston. His deep insight into many subjects continues to astonish me, but because of his humility you would have to just know him to see the good that he is capable of. With his foresight, Reddick can see a problem and soon have a possible solution that could likely resolve it. These are the kinds of attributes that a community would respect and appreciate in their councilperson.
