Players registered for the Sunny King Charity Classic can begin playing practice rounds for this year’s event June 15.

The tournament is scheduled for July 12-14 at Silver Lakes, Cider Ridge Golf Club and Anniston Country Club.

Silver Lakes is offering unlimited practice rounds beginning June 15 for $20, which includes range balls. Rounds may not be scheduled more than three days in advance and there is no guarantee the rounds can be played on the nines in the tournament rotation.

Cider Ridge offers the next widest window for practice beginning June 24, but will allow only one round for player.

Rounds are available any time June 24-27, July 1-3, July 8-11 and July 4 after 2 p.m. for $17. Rounds also can be scheduled June 28-30 and July 5-7 after noon at $32.

Anniston Country Club will offer practice rounds from July 5-11 from 7-11 a.m. or after 2 p.m. for $20, including range balls.

Players are encouraged to call in advance for availability and mention they are SKCC participants.

Tournament chairman Jimmy Flowers said Friday the tournament field is “close to between half and two-third full.” A full field is 204 two-man teams.

“We’re pleased where we are,” Flowers said.

Entry forms can be accessed through the tournament website (www.kingclassic.com).
