Portions of Huntsville's westbound I-565 were to remain closed this morning
Forecasters expected area roads this morning to be in far better shape than they were Sunday morning, despite any additional snow that may have accumulated.
But streets remained slick in spots Sunday night and early this morning, and elevated portions of westbound Interstate 565 were to remain closed through rush hour, according to the Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency. Westbound traffic was to be diverted to the Highway 72 bypass.
