Police: Ex-boyfriend admits to burglary, arson via voice mail

A woman’s alleged ex-boyfriend called her answering machine and confessed to breaking into her home, destroying property and setting fire to a table, according to Athens Police.

On Nov. 24, officers responded to a residence at 2200 Levert Ave. ,where a resident had arrived home to find two televisions destroyed, belongings scattered and a fire had been started on her dining room table.
