It is amazing how the liberal left, especially this newspaper, always seems to lump the population into one collective body. I refer to the editorial writer’s choice of words when referring to Alabamians. We are obese, we don’t exercise, we eat wrong and we smoke too much.
Proudly, I can say I, along with my family, am not overweight, am fit, eat healthy and don’t smoke. It is called “personal responsibility.” People are not forced to smoke, and taxing your way out of the problem is just a cop out. If President Obama would accept some responsibility (for the fiscal mess we’re in), we’d all be in better shape.
