I could not believe Trent Penny’s great full-page photo of Emory Blake scoring for Auburn in the Oct. 10 Star. Trent always seems to be in perfect position to get the play, but he outdid himself with this image of the Auburn player flying across the inside of the pylon to score this dramatic touchdown.
Everybody on The Star’s photo staff is a better photographer than most readers realize, and every issue confirms this.
I will be sure to keep this image in this year’s Auburn football scrapbook. In future years, I will be proud to have the definitive image of the one touchdown we scored this year.
