The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lin and Jo Howard of Bynum; Bill and Glenda Barker of Anniston; Dr. John Pennington of Oneonta and Teresa Thompson of Columbus, Miss.
Miss Pennington is a 2009 graduate of Oxford High School. She is a senior at Jacksonville State University. After graduation she will enter occupation therapy school at the University of South Alabama.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Lila Graham and the late Patrick Graham of Molton and Mr. Jim Bennett and Ms. Barbara Bennett of Birmingham.
Mr. Bennett is a 2008 graduate of Hoover High School. He is a senior at Jacksonville State University where he is completing his music education degree. He has almost completed flight training school and is considering air traffic control.
The wedding is tentatively planned for spring 2014 at Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
