Owner of cockfight site in Gadsden arrested
The owner of the property where a cockfight was about to take place on Sunday morning was arrested just outside Attalla, Sheriff Todd Entrekin said.
Entrekin said deputies responded to a complaint of noise and discovered the cockfighting operation about 11 a.m. There were about 60 people at a shed behind an old house on Clanton Street.
