Old AHS Alumni group holds event

The Old AHS Alumni group refers not to ‘age’ but to the ‘old’ Anniston High School. The ‘Grand Reunion’ event, held every two years on the even-numbered year, had 445 people in attendance this year. The event was held at Anniston City Meeting Center. Classmates are invited into this group after they celebrate their 50th high school class reunion. Classmates come from as far as California, Kansas, Washington, Illinois and Texas. This year, two classmates were in attendance who graduated in the 30’s, one in 1932 and the other in 1938.
