The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Manuel Lawrence Brocato of Birmingham and the Mr. Brocato; Ms. Lucy Turner Nowlin of Gadsden and the late Mr. Newman Roden Nowlin.
Miss Nowlin is a graduate of The University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She is employed as a register nurse at Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. John L. Aughtman of Greenville, S.C., and the late Mr. Aughtman; Mrs. Robert Edris Davies of Orlando, Fla., and the late Mr. Davies.
Mr. Davies is a graduate of The University of South Carolina with a degree in sport and entertainment management and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is employed as a key account manager for Reebok International.
The wedding will be March 24, 2012, at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham.
