NE Regional: Cedar Bluff rides power game to 1A girls final

JACKSONVILLE -- Cedar Bluff overpowered Skyline 73-56 to advance to the Class 1A Northeast Regional girls basketball finals and a fourth meeting with rival Spring Garden.

Cedar Bluff (16-15) has played Spring Garden three times this year already, losing all three. They will play Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Jacksonville State for a spot in next week's Final Four.

Against Skyline (21-9), Cedar Bluff dominated inside, scoring 56 of its 73 points inside the lane. The Tigers outrebounded Skyline 48-27.

Audrey Hargitt led the winners with 34 points and 11 rebounds, while Hannah Leach added 14 points and eight rebounds.

Skyline was paced by Jordan McCarver, who had 21 points, six rebounds and six steals.
