A Heflin man reported his mobile home stolen Friday, according to Anniston police.

The 66-year-old victim told police he had a single-wide mobile home worth $3,000 parked near the intersection of Shaw Street and Decker Street, Anniston Sgt. Chris Sparks said. Sparks said the man was not living in the trailer, but when he went to check on it Friday afternoon, he discovered the home was gone. The sergeant said the man was unsure when the trailer was taken.

Sparks said this morning that police were following up on leads.

A suspect is likely to face first-degree theft charges, a felony, according to a police report.
